Alexkazam Gymnastics

(Age 18+ years)

Gymnastics is designed to help you develop a strong foundation of gymnastics and functional movement. We believe that movement is critical to optimize health and enhance performance. Training with a gymnastics approach can supplement any other sport/discipline with quality coaching.

Alexkazam aims to help athletes of all abilities to reach their personal gymnastics goals. Alexkazam rovides a comprehensive gymnastics approach evolved from many years of training and coaching experience, and influenced by other great movement specialists around the world.

Alexkazam Class Descriptions


Compulsory for new members!

In this program, step by step we will assess your strength and weaknesses as we cover all the fundamentals of gymnastics. We will discuss concepts of body alignment, strength in full range of motion, joint mobility, gymnastics stretching and injury prevention protocols. You will become familiarized with the environment, gain a basic understanding of technique and positions, and be introduced to the following classes; strength, handstand, movement, mobility & stretch, and skills classes. This program will prepare you for all classes, and guide you in the right direction to begin to unlock your goals.


Prerequisite: One onset session
Fundamental level gymnastics strength paird with mobility and join preparation. Focused on pushing, pulling, dipping, squat mechanics, levers, headstands, core stability, with an introduction to rings strength training.


Prerequisite: One onset session and one strength 1

Focused on more intermediate level dips, pull ups, rope climbs, ring work, hangs, levers, squats, and core. All paired with gymnastics mobility and joint preparation. 

Prerequisite: One onset session and one strength 1
Ring Strength is focused on basics level rings strength: ring dips, pushups, pull ups, muscle ups, hangs, skin the cats, supports, and ring mobility work. 



Prerequisite: One Onset session
Stretching is essential to have a balanced relationship between mobility and strength. This is essential for optimizing strength at full ranges of motion, preventing injuries, joint health, and skill development. Stretching combined with full body movement is the ticket to success in adult gymnastics world.

Prerequisite: One Onset session
Fundamentals of handstand balance, positioning, and leg strength.  Focused on overhead positioning and mobility, core strength, handstand alignment, squat mechanics, and basic level handstand balance. 

Prerequisite: One Onset session and Handstand 1
This class continues to focus on overhead positioning,squat mechanics, core strength & stability, alignment, balance, and intermediate to advanced level handstand balance work. Mastery and completion of Handstand 1 elements is required- positioning, body awareness, core strength and basic handstand holds.

Prerequisite: One Onset session
Trampoline basics - jumps, twists, drops, landings, rotations. It is recommended to have mastery and completion of the strength and handstand 1 classes where you will develop body awareness and fundamental strength to prevent injury and advanced further with skills.



Prerequisite: One Onset session
Fundamentals of handstand balance, positioning, and leg strength.  Focused on overhead positioning and mobility, core strength, handstand alignment, squat mechanics, and basic level handstand balance. 

Prerequisite: One Onset session
Will continue to focus on the basics - rolls, jumps, skips, leaps, twists, cartwheels, roundoffs, backbends, handstands, basic walkovers, back extension to handstands, back handspring basics and saltos. It is recommended to have mastery and completion of the strength and handstand 1 classes where you will develop body awareness and fundamental strength to prevent injury and advanced further with skills.



Prerequisite: One Onset session
This class you will focus on basic swings, inbar elements and circles, gymnastics kips, core strength, dismounts, positioning and bodyawareness drills, and basic level bars routines.

Prerequisite: One Onset session
Course is designed to improve balance and confidence
We’ll begin with simple static exercises and progress into the artistry of beam which include; Walking patterns, level changes and skill progressions
You will learn basic beam skills and complex as well as the development of gymnastics leaps, jumps, and turns both on and off the beam



Prerequisite: One Onset session
We will focus on animal walks, crawls, locomotions, inversions, hanging, jumping, rolling, twisting, and different drills for balance that carry over to other skills and apparatuses in gymnastics.





Prerequisite: One Onset session
Circuits will primarily focus on bodyweight exercises but, will also include kettlebell work. Through creative interval training you will work on balance, coordination, cardio, and strength using the bars, beam, floor, trampoline and accessory gymnastics equipment.
